Most Camper Dealers
include the price of delivery and setup in the price of the trailer.
This is not a Free Service! This charge is built into the price of
the trailer.
You may have to take
time off from work for the final walkthrough at the dealership and again
when the trailer is finally delivered.
There is often haggling
and sometimes nasty phone calls to the dealership on the delivery of your
new camper. Your trailer is ready to go but they cannot deliver it for days
or even weeks. This is no way to start off with a new camper.
You time is important
and so is your money. Ask the dealer how much money you could save by taking
the trailer yourself. Then call a transporter and get a quote for delivery
and setup. You may find the transporter is not as expensive as the
dealership and you will find the transporter will deliver your trailer when
you want it and the setup is often superior to a dealerships!
