Hot
Water Washing
|
| |
|
Most
people who wash their trailers use cold water, High Water Pressure, (2000psi
and up) and an abrasive cleaner that may damage the finish.
The
truth is: |
| |
| Cold water washing
does not have the cleaning power of hot water. |
| |
| High Pressure Washing
(2000 psi and up) can weaken or remove seals and gaskets on the roof,
windows and doors, creating leaks. |
| |
|
How often do you clean the roof?
The dirt, mold, mildew and black streaks start from the roof. So cleaning
the sides only, is not as effective. |
| |
|
Using hot water is the best way to remove dirt, mold, mildew, and black
streaks. Using Low Water Pressure, (1200 psi) will greatly reduce the risk
of damage to seal and gaskets. A good environmentally friendly oxidizer will
clean and remove black streaks. No matter how much you try to avoid it, some
scrubbing will be needed, not excessive cleaner or water pressure. |
